✂️ Care

Gently rinse the culture gel under lukewarm water. Do not plant the rhizome too deep into the substrate. When transplanting or during water changes, 'crypt-melt' may occur — the leaves yellow and die off. This is normal, and the plant almost always recovers within a few weeks. More light enhances the pink color.

💡 Planter tip

Plant in groups for a full, colorful effect in the foreground. Combine with green foreground plants for a strong color contrast.

❓ Frequently asked questions

What is 'crypt-melt' and should I be concerned?
Crypt-melt is a natural reaction to change. The leaves yellow and die off, but the rhizome remains alive, and the plant regrows within a few weeks.

How do I prepare an In Vitro cup?
Remove the plant from the cup, rinse off the culture gel under lukewarm water, and plant it in the substrate.

My plant arrived yellow or limp — is that normal?
Yes, In Vitro plants are grown emersed and adapt. Give the plant 1–2 weeks. For persistent issues: contact us.

Is this plant suitable for a shrimp tank?
Yes — especially as In Vitro, it's ideal for shrimp tanks, completely free of pests.
