Pleco Tabs XL is the staple food without colourings and preservatives for larger catfish (e.g. plecos) and other bottom-dwelling fish.
The large tabs can also be attached to the aquarium glass. This feeding method offers fascinating opportunities to observe a wide variety of ornamental fish species.
The high content of natural spirulina (20%), rich in minerals and vital substances, promotes digestion, color development, and the animals' health. Because the tablets retain their shape for a long time, they can be eaten slowly without contaminating the water.
Food suitable for catfish
Catfish are generally rather shy aquarium inhabitants. Some are crepuscular or emerge only at night, searching for food by digging, scraping, and sucking in the substrate. Therefore, they need food that sinks to the bottom and retains its shape for a long time. Most catfish are omnivorous, but there are also species that prefer a predominantly plant-based diet (e.g., armored catfish) or animal-based diet (e.g., armored catfish). sera offers three staple foods for catfish, whose different compositions and structures optimally meet their respective needs.
