✂️ Care

Plant the stems in groups of 5–7 in the midground or background. Hygrophila Angustifolia grows quickly and can be pruned weekly. Use Sera Florena as a liquid plant fertilizer. CO₂ is not mandatory but significantly intensifies the reddish-brown leaf color.

💡 Planter's Tip

With more light and CO₂, the leaves develop beautiful reddish-brown hues — ideal as a color accent next to green plants. Cut off the tops and replant them directly for a dense, full background. Also read our Hygrophila care guide for more tips.
