Betta Splendens Male
Betta Splendens Male
The Betta is known for their enormous variety in colors and fin size.
However, the Betta is not a suitable fish for a community aquarium, the males of this species should always be kept solitary, because the aggressive and territorial nature of this fish will ensure that other aquarium inhabitants are not safe.
As fun as it may seem, never put male and female Bettas together in the same aquarium, as the female will not survive.
The Betta mainly stays in the top layer of the aquarium water and the aquarium should not be too large.
For example, 30 to 50 litres is more than enough for 1 man with many plants and little current.
