With substrate from Aquariumplantenshop, you can create a good foundation for your aquarium. We offer all kinds of substrates, from filter sand to gravel. For optimal plant growth in a heavily planted aquarium, we recommend using gravel with a grain size of 1 to 2 mm combined with a substrate. If you have catfish or other bottom-dwelling fish in your aquarium, sand is the best choice.
