A suitable substrate is essential for a realistic aquarium setup and the well-being of the animals – especially for bottom-dwelling fish like armored catfish, which require a soft, fine-grained substrate. At the same time, a light-colored, fine substrate offers a wide range of aesthetic possibilities.
Aquarium Gravel White Fine is a natural, light-colored sand mixture with a grain size of 0-2 mm that meets both functional and decorative requirements. Thanks to its rounded grain size, the sand is particularly gentle on sensitive bottom-dwelling fish and supports their natural goby behavior. The light color brings peace and clarity to the aquarium and forms a clear contrast with dark rocks, roots, or intensely colored plants.
This substrate is ideal for creating lifelike aquarium landscapes, such as shallow shorelines, tropical sandy areas, or African biotopes. It adds breadth and depth, especially in the foreground or in open areas. It also combines perfectly with coarser gravel to create distinctive accents or soft transitions.
Aquarium Gravel White Fine is CO2- resistant, water-neutral, and doesn't affect water parameters – an important prerequisite for a stable aquarium ecosystem. Because this gravel is a natural product, it contains no harmful substances. Although it is pre-washed, additional cleaning is recommended before placing it in the aquarium.

De porties waren perfect, en alles kwam goed aan.
De planten kwamen goed verpakt aan, en aan de meeste planten was er niks te zien. Aan 2 (van de 20) planten was er duidelijk te zien waarom het in de restmix behoorde.
Er was een grote variatie aan planten in de mix, geen enkele dubbele planten en verschillende groottes.
De algen magneet werkt perfect, alle algen gaan er direct af, en laten je achter met propere ramen.
Wel oppassen met het mes, de magneet is heel sterk (perfect) maar klapt dus makkelijk toe. Let dat je vingers niet in de buurt komen van het mes.

Prima kwaliteit!
Kwam snel en prachtig verpakt binnen. Zagen er al heel hoopvol uit. Inmiddels staan ze in het aquarium en alles lijkt mooi aan te slaan. Zie al overal nieuwe scheutjes komen. En dat na anderhalve week. Echt heel tevreden!!
